What is Traditional Tunisian salad?

Tunisian salad it’s one of the most common dishes in Tunisian cuisine. It’s made of cucumber, tomato, onion, green pepper, olive oil, mint, lemon, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Garnish the salad with tuna, olives, boiled eggs, or capers.

As this salad includes very few ingredients, I advise you to make this salad only with ripe vegetables. The vegetables are full of flavor, and super delicious Tunisian salad is guaranteed! I guess there’s nothing more bland tasting than raw tomatoes, haha.

Make a big bowl of Tunisian salad and serve with grilled fish, chicken, and meat. And of course, you can’t forget a fresh baguette. Finish the lunch or dinner with refreshing Tunisian lemonade.
